Class E Small School Bus Pathway
Class E is for school-purpose buses with not more than 24 passenger seats and also authorizes Class F and G vehicles.

Eligibility & licensing
Typical pathway
- Be at least 21
- Hold an eligible Ontario licence
- Meet medical and vision standards
- Complete the government-approved School Bus Driver Improvement Course
- Pass required record / criminal checks and meet demerit / suspension standards
- Pass road testing in the appropriate bus
Important: Class B/E requirements are more restrictive than regular bus classes because they involve school-purpose transportation.
